About Us
I am Elizabeth Dunlap, owner and main photographer for Family Photography.
Working with real people and happy families has given me the most joy of all my photography experiences, which is why I decided to focus entirely on just that. I have over five years of professional experience in photography which began in Ukraine in 2017. Since that time, I have worked for the marketing department in the Dallas community college system and currently do seasonal contract work as a commencement photographer for major north Texas universities and school systems such as Texas Christian University, and the University of Texas at Arlington. Before starting Family Photography, I photographed college sporting events, performance hall events, art galleries, and all kinds of fairs. Although I do enjoy working in crowded and fast-paced environments occasionally, I discovered that I get the most fulfillment when working with families and helping to capture their unique bond. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I believe in the immeasurable value of family union.
My name is Sean Dunlap and I help my wife and partner with managing Family Photography.
I typically accompany Elizabeth on most large photo shoots, where I assist with set-up, manage equipment, and handle communications and scheduling. Occasionally, I take photos and videos when Elizabeth needs a hand, but she is always the final authority on everything we send to our clients. Outside of photography, I manage transportation at a charter school in Dallas and serve as a part-time paratrooper in the Texas Army National Guard.
